Description
English: Rickmansworth: Stocker's Lake Stocker's Lake is a flooded former gravel pit where extraction took place between the 1920s and 1940s. The old Wembley Stadium is one example of a site where the gravel was used in the early 1920s. Today it is a nature reserve managed by the Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust.
