Public domain According to the Romanian Law on Copyright and Neighboring Rights Law no. 8/1996 of March 14, 1996 with further amendments Chapter 3 Article 9 the following documents shall not benefit from the legal protection accorded to copyright:

Română: Descrierea stemei:

Stema comunei Sângeorgiu de Mureș, potrivit anexei nr. 1.2, se compune dintr-un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat.

În partea superioară, în câmp albastru, se află Sf. Gheorghe ucigând balaurul de aur, flancat de soarele de aur și luna de argint.

În vârful scutului, în câmp verde, se află un brâu undat de argint.

Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.

Semnificațiile elementelor însumate

Sf. Gheorghe stilizat simbolizează patronul spiritual al comunei.

Soarele și luna semnifică lumina și curajul locuitorilor.

Banda undată reprezintă râul Mureș.

Coroana murală cu un turn crenelat semnifică faptul că localitatea are rangul de comună.
