Română: Descrierea stemei:

Stema comunei Zăvoi, potrivit anexei nr. 1.8, se compune dintr-un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, împărţit în istiţiune. În partiţia din dreapta, în câmp roşu, se află un măr de aur cu codiţa şi frunzuliţa spre stânga. În partiţia din stânga, în câmp roşu, se află un brad dezrădăcinat, de argint. În vârful scutului, în câmp verde, se află un zid semicircular din patru rânduri de cărămizi întreţesute, sub care se află o elice de aur. Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.

Semnificaţiile elementelor însumate

Bradul reprezintă bogăţia silvică a zonei. Mărul semnifică bogăţia pomicolă a zonei. Elicea simbolizează activitatea hidroenergetică, prin prezenţa barajului de la Poiana Mărului. Zidul semnifică prezenţa efigiilor române şi trecutul istoric al localităţii. Coroana murală cu un turn crenelat semnifică faptul că localitatea are rangul de comună.
