Description
Deutsch: Castra Praetorii Mobeni am Limes Arabicus in einem vom Benutzer Mediatus zusammengestellten Plan. Genutzt wurden für diesen Plan insbesondere die Forschungen von Alfred von Domaszewski (1856–1927) und Rudolf Ernst Brünnow (1858–1917): Die Provincia Arabia auf Grund zweier in den Jahren 1897 und 1898 unternommenen Reisen und der Berichte früherer Reisender beschrieben. Band 2, Trübner, Straßburg 1904, S. 48, 49 (aufklappbarer Plan; aufgenommen von Alfred von Domaszewski). Einen wichtigen Anteil hatte auch Samuel Thomas Parker (1950–2021): The Roman Limes in Jordan. In: Studies in the History and Archaeology of Jordan 3 (1987), S. 151–164; hier: S. 157, Abb. 6. Diesen revidierten und korrigierten Plan hatte ursprünglich Bert de Vries (1939–2021) in seiner Eigenschaft als Architekt auf Basis des Plans von Domaszewski und Brünnow gezeichnet. Als Vermesser halfen de Vies die Architekten Jim Michener sowie Dan Ritsema. Der hier in der Wikipedia von dem Benutzer Mediatus erstellte Plan unterscheidet sich von den beiden genannten Zusammenstellungen auch darin, daß er die nicht immer geraden Winkelmaße darstellt.
