Description
English: View from the beach of the Point Barrow Refuge Station, located in Barrow, North Slope Borough, Alaska, the northernmost city in the United States. Built in 1889, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places on 2 December 1980. The large structures in the foreground are whale bones; note the whalebone arch.
