Description

Downtown Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, from the northeast. In the foreground are the Phoenix Iron Works brownfields site and French Creek, both instrumental in the history of Phoenixville. The front row of buildings are on Bridge Street, which runs left to right in the image. The nearest building is the former Company Office of the Phoenix Iron Works which has been restored and hosts a restaurant. Downtown Phoenixville also has a famous theater that was used in the original film "The Blob". The colonial theater is located downtown on Bridge Street.
