The fire at Blackfriars Bridge

Remains of the Mauritius 16 February 1855. General Screw Steam Shipping Company's ship Maurutius Caught fire in Southampton Dock and was a total loss. 21 April 1855. Her hull is still in the inner dock, no orders have yet been given as to her disposal.
