Description

P.E.O. co-Founder Alice Bird (Babb), May 8, 1850 - November 21, 1926. Original oil portrait by Marion Dunlap Harper on commission from the P.E.O. International and originally unveiled in P.E.O. Memorial Hall in Mount Pleasant, Iowa on September 23, 1929. It was a composite sourced from a collection of sketches, portraits and photographs.
