Description
English: Mixed oak-hickory forest at Cedars of Lebanon State Park in Wilson County, Tennessee, in the southeastern United States.
  • This type of forest thrives on the fringes of the cedar flats, in areas where the soil is thick enough to allow large hardwoods to grow. A shagbark hickory tree can be seen on the left.
