Summary

Description The Royal Norwegian Navy submarine KNM Kya (S307), circa 1960. She was originally built as the German Type VIIC-class submarine U-926 and commissioned 29 February 1944. The boat was decommissioned at Bergen, Norway on 5 May 1945 and transferred by Great Britain to Norway on 10 January 1949. U-926 became KNM Kya (S307) and served until 1962. The submarine was scrapped in 1964.
