Description
English: The Nisei VFW War Memorial Hall is located at 1515 Fourth St., Sacramento, CA. Serving as the clubhouse of Nisei VFW Post 8985, the property was built by A.E. Kimmel and Roy Swedin in 1951 to serve as the Flower Garden restaurant, and as a lodge for African American members of the Elks Club. The property was purchased by the Sacramento JACL for VFW Post 8985 in 1955.
