Description
English: Captain Hooper of the New Zealand Government training ship Amokura with maritime cadets and penguins on the Bounty Islands, around 1910. During 1907 and 1918 the cadets made annual excursions to the island groups to provide them with rough-weather experience. The 'hut' is a depot with provisions for castaways. The depot was removed in 1927.
Nederlands: Kapitein Hooper van het Nieuw-Zeelandse marine-opleidingsschip Amokura met marinecadetten en pinguïns op de Bounty-eilanden, ca. 1910. Tussen 1907 en 1918 maakten de cadetten jaarlijkse excursies naar de eilandengroep om hen slecht-weer-ervaring op te laten doen. De 'hut' is een depot met voorraden voor schipbreukelingen. Het depot werd in 1927 verwijderd.
