Description

New Hampshire historical marker no. 2, for "Fort at Number 4" located in Charlestown, New Hampshire. The Fort at Number 4 was a fortification protecting Plantation Number 4, the northernmost British settlement along the Connecticut River in New Hampshire until after the French and Indian War.
