Purpose of use in article (WP:NFCC#8)	This rare historic photo depicts the New Gym, which was the home of the Florida Gators men's basketball team from 1928 until 1949.
Not replaceable with free media because (WP:NFCC#1)	The structure was demolished 70 years ago and photographs of it are extremely rare. The Digital Collection of the University of Florida Archives is the only place I have ever found an image of this almost forgotten facility.
Minimal use (WP:NFCC#3)	The photo will be used in the article about the University of Florida Gators men's basketball team, the primary tenant of the New Gym.
Respect for commercial opportunities (WP:NFCC#2)	Items in the UF archive's photography and moving image collections are entirely free to view and/or download.
