Description
Deutsch: Eingang zum U-Bahnhof Bowling Green an der IRT Lexington Avenue Line. Dieser Eingang im Stil eines Gartenpavillons befindet sich am Bowling-Green-Park am Südende vom Broadway. Es wurde im Jahre 1905 von Heins & LaFarge erbaut und steht für die ruhmreichen Zeiten der ersten New Yorker U-Bahn. Es steht seit 1973 unter Denkmalschutz.
English: IRT Control House at Bowling Green station on the IRT Lexington Avenue Line.
This garden-pavillon-like entrance is located underneath Bowling Green Park at the southern end of Broadway. It was built by Heins & LaFarge in 1905 and represents the old glory of New York's first subway line. It was designated a landmark in 1973.
