| Description |
English: Monastic garden at Haverfordwest priory The C15 garden here is a unusual feature and it has been recreated in its original grid form with raised rectangular beds and grassy pathways between. The monks would have grown scented flowers and herbs for culinary and medicinal purposes here. One bed was more elaborate with a turf bench, doorway and internal paths, perhaps so that the prior could enjoy the sensory delights of a summer evening.
