Description
English: This image depicts the mediastinum and two lungs extracted from a deceased canine, which had succumbed to a case of leptospirosis, caused by bacteria of the genus Leptospira. Note the pinpoint, or petechial hemorrhages, as well as frank pulmonary hemorrhages throughout the lung tissue.
