Summary

Description

One of four C-17 aircraft operated by 'NATO' SAC from Papa AB in Hungary. SAC (Strategic Airlift Capability) is not actually under NATO control, although 10 of its 12 nations are in NATO. Sweden is one of the 12 nations, hence the aircrafts appearance at both the 2012 and the 2010 Malmen airshows. '01' is allocated US military serial 08-0001 and is msn F207, with a l/n of SAC01. It is seen on static display at the 2012 Malmen Airshow, Sweden.
