Summary

Description
English: On later Gemini missions, astronauts brought several cameras and accessories into space for documentation and scientific photography. The equipment displayed here was available to astronaut photographers on the last four Gemini missions. This camera flew on all four of those missions. Lenses of different focal lengths, special filters, and extra film magazines increased the types and amount of photographic work astronauts could do in space. On Gemini X, Michael Collins and John Young used a color patch kit, like the one displayed here, to give scientists a known set of colors to compare with those seen in space.  Picture taken at the National Air and Space Museum's Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, Virginia, USA.
