Summary

Description
English: The base of the central mast of the huge trideco antenna of the military VLF transmitter at Anthorn Radio Station, Anthorn, UK, showing the feedlines that feed power to the antenna. The feedline is connected to 6 vertical radiator wires suspended from the huge horizontal topload panels connected to the top of the mast. The transmitter operates on 19.6 kHz with an output power of 550 kilowatts to communicate to submerged submarines.
