English: Plaque affixed in 2009 by the Asociación Histórico – Cultural Teodoro Reding of Malaga to commemorate the crucial role played by Teodoro Reding first as Military Governor of Malaga and subsequently as aide-de-camp to General Francisco Javier Castaños at the victorious Battle of Bailén, where a statue has been erected to his memory in 2008 <► File:Teodoro_Reding.JPG. Español: Placa instalada en 2009 en el número 6 de la plaza de la Consittución por la Asociación Histórico-Cultural Teodoro Reding de Málaga para conmemorar el crucial papel desempeñado por Teodoro Reding, primero como gobernador militar de Málaga y posteriormente como ayudante de campo del general Francisco Javier Castaños, en la batalla de Bailén, donde se erigió una estatua en su memoria en 2008. Se trata de una placa de mármol blanco con una imagen de Teodoro Reding en la que se lee la siguiente inscripción: «A la memoria de / D. Teodoro Reding von Biberegg / gobernador militar y corregidor de Málaga / artífice de la victoria de Bailén / La Asociación H. C. Teodoro Reding / le dedica este tributo en el lugar / donde se encontraban / las Casas Consistoriales en 1808 / Bicentenario de la guerra de la Independencia / Málaga 2009». |
