English: General Lysimachus, head, 42 cm, 200-250 AD. Ephesus Archaeological Museum no. 1846.
Čeština: Generál Lysimachos jakože za mlada. Nadživotní hlava, 42 cm, 200-250 n. l. Archeologické muzeum v Efesu, 1846. Ve skutečnosti ovládnul Efes v poněkud zralejším věku r. 285 před n. l. a spolu s mnohem mladší Arsinoé (pozdější královnou Egypta, poté co tam znásilnila svého mnohem mladšího bráchu) tu dělal psí kusy. Např. se od Arsinoé nechal zblbnout ke stavbě nesmyslných hradeb, zabil její děti před jejíma očima, ale ona si zase vymyslela, že ji svádí jeho syn, čímž ho zničila, atd. atp., byla by to látka na šekspírovskou jatkózní tragédii.
