Deutsch: Als "Labrador" gekaufte Hündin in einer der "neuen" Fellfarben. Im Unterschied zu dem echten schwarzen Labradorrüden am Bildrand links mit dem dichten Fell aus Unterwolle und stark glänzendem Deckhaar hat die vom Züchter als Silver-Labrador verkaufte Hündin eine Farbmutanten-Alopezie. In großen Bereichen fehlt das glänzende Deckhaar, weil es ausfällt, und nur die Unterwolle ist vorhanden. Sie hat kahle Stellen am Rücken und zu dünne Behaarung an den Behängen. Dass diese Modefellfarbe durch Einkreuzung des Weimaraners erzeugt wurde, kann man am weniger stämmigen Körperbau, an der Kopfform und an der Rute eindeutig erkennen.
English: Bitch bought as a "Labrador" in one of the "new" coat colours. In contrast to the true black male Labrador at the left edge of the picture with the dense coat of undercoat and very shiny top coat, the bitch sold by the breeder as a Silver Labrador has colour dilution alopecia. In large areas the shiny top coat is missing because it falls out and only the undercoat is present. She has bald patches on her back and too thin hair on her legs. That this fashionable coat colour was produced by crossbreeding with the Weimaraner can be clearly seen from the less stocky build and the shape of the head and the tail. |
