Description
English: Wall painting in a bird hospital run by Digambar Jain Lal Mandir, Delhi; showing King Meghrath saving the life pigeon from a hungry predator hawk by cutting off flesh from his leg equivalent to the weight of pigeon, thereby saving lives of both birds. This was a previous birth of 16th Tirthankar Shantinath bhagwan.
