Summary

Description
English: Jain sculpture found during "Kankali Tila" excavation. Kankali Tila (Mathura) was excavated by Dr. Fuhrer in the season 1890-91. The sculpture with a stupa in the center depicts last four tirthankar: Nami, Neminath, Parsva and Mahavira. The inscription on the sculpture reads "year 95", which dates it to 51 A.D. (if Vikram Samvat calendar is considered). Published in 1901
