Description John Augustine Kempthorne (1864-1946), Bishop of Lichfield, by Brown & Sons Ltd of Hull. This photo was probably taken when he was inducted as Bishop of Lichfield in 1913. The reverse of the card has the handwritten message, "To Maude with love."
