Fair use for John Rambo[edit]
This image, JohnRambo1982.jpg, is being linked here; though the picture is subject to copyright I (WölffReik) feel it is covered by the U.S. fair use laws because:
- it is a promotional screenshot of a television character;
- it does not limit the copyright owner's rights to sell the DVD of the show in any way;
- copies could not be used to make illegal copies of the program;
- the image is accompanied by a description of the characters role and critical commentary of their importance on the show;
- the image is significant because it identifies a starring character and the subject of the article.

The copyright for it is most likely owned by the company who created the promotional item or the artist who produced the item in question; you must provide evidence of such ownership.
