Summary

Sketch by Peter Paul Rubens from his "Costume Book", early 17th century, seemingly copied from the 16th century Receuil d'Arras, itself a collection of copies of earlier portraits. Although identified by Rubens as Jacqueline of Luxembourg, there is no record in the Receuil of such a portrait; it seems to be more closely a copy of the portrait of Isabella of Bourbon.
