Summary

Description
English: All that is left of a building with a legitimate claim to being the birthplace of Britain's Industrial Revolution, or at least the effective use of steam power in working the machinery that made it possible. It was here that Watt made his revolutionary improvements to the Newcomen steam engine which he had observed to be relatively inefficient.
