Deutsch: Drei Armlehnstühle und ein HockerEnde 19./Anfang 20. Jahrhundert
Geweihmöbel sind seit 1825 in adligen Jagdschlössern nachweisbar. Seit der Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts war das Jagdrecht jedoch vor allem an ausreichenden Grundbesitz gebunden und somit kein Privileg des Adels mehr. In bürgerlichen Kreisen kam es daher zunehmend in Mode, Jagdtrophäen zu zeigen. Geweihmöbel wurden zur Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts so populär, dass verschieden Firmen sie in Serie fertigten. In den Jagdsalons des ausgehenden 19. Jahrhunderts trugen sie zur überbordenden Fülle der Ausstattung bei. |
