This is the cover art for Hong Kong 97, an unlicensed Super Famicom game created by Yoshihiza "Kowloon" Kurosawa and a programmer from Enix. The game was intended as a mockery of the video game industry. The cover art is a combination (derivative work) of copyrighted elements from four different images: a photograph of Bruce Lee, a photograph of Deng Xiaoping, a photograph of Chinese soldiers, and a photograph of blue sky. A faux copyright notice at the bottom attributes the cover to HappySoft, a company which never existed. |
