English: Herbert Norman Schwarzkopf was the first superintendent of the New Jersey State Police. He is best known for his involvement in the Lindbergh kidnapping case and for being the father of General H. Norman Schwarzkopf, Jr., the commander of all coalition forces for Operation Desert Shield/Storm.

The Library of Congress states "No copyright restriction known. Staff photographer reproduction rights transferred to Library of Congress through Instrument of Gift." [1] A search through the U.S. Copyright Office records shows no renewal for either the photographer, Walter Albertin, nor his employer, World Telegram.
