Summary
| Description |
English: Union Pacific # D.S. 1011 in an EMD type NW-2 built in 1940. Before coming to Heber Valley, it saw service on the Wasatch Mountain Railway between 1978 and 1990. The Heber Valley Railroad is a Utah tourist line that travels between Heber City and Vivian Park in Provo Canyon. The scenery on this line is spectacular, and a visit is thoroughly recommended (Heber City is within easy reach of Salt Lake City, Orem or Provo). |
