Description
English: Josephus Archidux Austriae A mezzotint of Holy Roman Emperor Joseph II. A full-length portrait wearing a lace cravat, a ruffled lace coat and mantle, stocking and buckled shows. His left hand rests upon his hip while his right hand indicated towards a table supporting a cushion and crown. Behind him is a large and ornate chair. The portrait sits within a large rectangular moulded frame, beneath which is the Latin inscription 'JOSEPHUS ARCHIDUX AUSTRIAE.' The print has been trimmed and is much rubbed and torn.
