English: A Gunner from HMS Lancaster's ship's company takes part in a small arms firing at sea (SAFAS) using a General Purpose Machine Gun with a mounted EOTech holographic weapon sight.

On Wednesday 17th March 2021, HMS Lancaster took part in a small arms firing at sea (SAFAS).

The shoot took place after the ship sailed from Aberdeen to take on fuel and stores before she conducts maritime security patrols in and around UK waters.

The purpose of the shoot was to ensure members of the ship's company remain in date for firing live weaponry whilst at sea.
