Description
English: This image was probably taken by the dockyard photographer as it appears very similar to other images of the same date and location. (See J C Jeremy, 'Safe to Dive', p 13 2005). Handwritten inscription in black ink reads: "18.11.19 728H". Inscription stamped in purple ink on the reverse reads: "Commonwealth Naval/ Dockyard./Cockatoo Island./ Nov 21 1916/ photographs department."
