English: Arms of Henry Grenville (d.1327) of Stowe, Kilkhampton, Cornwall & Bideford, Devon (Gules, three clarions or) impaling Wortham (Sable, a chevron ermine between three lion's gambs erased argent), the arms of his wife Ann Wortham. (Granville, Rev. Roger, Rector of Bideford, History of the Granville Family traced back to Rollo First Duke of Normandy, with pedigrees etc., Exeter, 1895, p.51 [1]; Arms of "Wortham of Wortham" in Devon, per Pole, Sir William (d.1635), Collections Towards a Description of the County of Devon, Sir John-William de la Pole (ed.), London, 1791, p.509: Gules, a chevron ermine between three lion's gambs erased and erect argent. Here at Kilkhampton the field is shown sable, not gules)
