Summary

Description This cross is known as Goldsmith's Cross as it was re-discovered by a Lt. Goldsmith, R.N. in 1903. It may well have been used as a marker for the track from the monastery at Buckfast to the monastery at Tavistock. It is located in the Fox Tor Mire area between Childe's Tomb & Nun's Cross on South Dartmoor.
