Description
English: Showing drum underneath old wooden threshing machine inside the threshing barn at Home Farm, Beamish Museum, County Durham, England. This would have been powered by the horse mill in the gin gang next door. At top left of image, you can just see the concentric gear wheels which allow the threshing machine operator to change gear, i.e. speed up or slow down.
