Bronze d. = 33 mm.

Wilhelm II, 1888- 1918 and Augusta Victoria of Schleswig-Holstein, the last German Empress and Queen of Prussia, a niece of Queen Victoria, 1858 Dolzig Palace, Brandenburg, Kingdom of Prussia (now Dłużek, Poland) – 1921 Huis Doorn, Kingdom of the Netherlands

The Geneva cross with Prussian royal crowns at the ends of the arms of the cross; between the arms of the cross are the initials W and R at the top (William Rex), and below are the initials A and V (Augusta Victoria). On the reverse is the inscription in four lines FUER / VERDIENSTE / UM DAS / ROTHE KREUZ (For Merit in the Red Cross). To the left of the inscription is a curved oak branch. Brettauer 3705 b; v. This medal could be awarded to all those who carried out great service to the sick in peace or wartime, or for special achievement in the service of the German Red Cross.
