Der Unterschied zwischen Gen und GenLt besteht im rot unterlegtem Bundesadler an der Tellerkappe beim ranghöherem Gen, siehe Abbildung unten. English: Rank insignia of the Austrian Bundesheer, here General (Gen, OF9, four-star rank) as well as General lieutenant (GenLt, OF8, three-star rank) – peaked cap. However, the distinguishing feature between Gen and GenLt is the red background colour to the federal eagle on the peaked cap of the rank higher Gen, see file below. Русский: Войнские звания Вооружённых сил Австрии, здесь «Генерал» («Ген», ОФ9, четирёх звездное звание) a также «Генерал лейтенант» («ГенЛт», ОФ8, триёх звездное звание) – фуражка.
