Summary
| Description |
The Olde Kings Arms, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire (<a href="https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101342190-the-kings-arms-public-house-dacorum-hemel-hempstead-town-ward" rel="noreferrer nofollow">Grade II*</a>). A 16th- or early 17th-century timber-framed public house. A plaque states that in the 1600s, the King's Arms was an alehouse with stabling for 36 hourses. In 1756 it was called the Prince's Arms. GOC Hertfordshire's walk on 9 December 2017, an 8-mile circular walk in and around Hemel Hempstead, including Gadebridge Park, Piccotts End, Water End (Great Gaddesden), Fields End, Pouchen End, Winkwell, Boxmoor, Water Gardens and Old Town.
