English: Signalbox at site of Frisby station, 1993. View eastward, towards Melton Mowbray and Peterborough: ex-Midland (Leicester) - Syston - Melton Mowbray - Saxby (- M&GN) system) - Manton - Peterborough secondary main line. The line to Peterborough remains open, but Frisby station had been closed since 3/7/61 - in spite of the sign on the signalbox, which had been altered when Andrew Tatlow took an identical view much more recently (2012) |
