Summary

Description Maj Gen Frank Gorenc, Commander, Air Force District of Washington, greets Pope Benedict XVI upon his arrival at Andrews Air Force Base, Md., hosted by the 316th Wing and the Air Force District of Washington, on April 15th, 2008, beginning his weeklong trip to the United States. The Pontiff, selected 265th pope on April 19, 2005, will meet with President George W. Bush at the White House, address the Presidents of Roman Catholic Colleges and Universities, and celebrate mass at Nationals Park in Washington D.C. and Yankee Stadium in New York City.
