Summary

Description
English: Postcard from the 1920s describing as showing Melun, France about 1095 and in the 1920s Shows 2 water color paintings. In fact, left one is from Blandy-Les-Tours (~10 km from Melun) badly horitontally compressed picture dating after 1990s reconstruction (there was no roof on the castle during XXth century). The one at the right unidentified could be a tempera (not watercolour, didn't exists in 1095), looks a little like Blandy-les-Tours and it's church. Melun castle was not at middle of fields, but at middle of Seine River on a little isle)
