Summary

Description Former Hanningtons Department Store, East Street/Market Street/North Street, Brighton, City of Brighton and Hove, East Sussex. Founded in 1808 by Smith Hannington. Continued as a department store until 2001. Listed at Grade II by English Heritage (IoE Code 480663). This shows the well-known clock above the 1989 bridge over Market Street.
