Compliance with the Wikipedia Non-free content Policy[edit]

This content complies with all ten of the following criteria in the Wikipedia Non-free content Policy:

1. No free equivalent. There is no free equivalent available or that could be created that would serve the same encyclopedic purpose because none are available.
2. Respect for commercial opportunities. This content is unlikely to replace the original market role of the original copyrighted media because the original was a television program and this is simply a screenshot for informational purposes.
3. (a) Minimal use. This content is a minimal use of the copyrighted content because it is not the original work and has a lower resolution
   (b) Resolution/fidelity. This content has lower resolution/fidelity than the copyrighted content because the original broadcast was in 720 lines of resolution and this screenshot is 300x240 pixels.
4. Previous publication. This content was published outside Wikipedia under the following circumstances: Government television broadcast
5. Content. This content is encyclopedic because it is a notable effect of an item in context with a notable current event.
6. Media-specific policy. The material meets Wikipedia's media-specific policy.
7. One-article minimum. This content is used in the following article(s): FOAB
8. Significance. This content contributes significantly to that article or those articles in the following way(s): it provides visual identification of the item's effect.
9. Restrictions on location. This content is only used in the article namespace.
10. Image description page. The image or media description page contains the following.

This image has been uploaded to allow for visual identification of the type of impact of the item in question (FOAB). It is a government image captured from television and reduced in resolution to satisfy non-free television screenshot fair use Wikipedia guidelines.

Licensing[edit]

This image is a screenshot of a copyrighted television program. As such, the copyright for it is most likely owned by the company or corporation that produced it. It is believed that the use of a limited number of low-resolution screenshots for identification of and critical commentary on the television program and its contents on the English-language Wikipedia, hosted on servers in the United States by the non-profit Wikimedia Foundation, qualifies as fair use under the Copyright law of the United States.
