Fair use rationale for Fat Freddy's Cat[edit]

I contend that the use of this low-resolution image to illustrate the article on Fat Freddy's Cat will not adversely affect the rights of the copyright holder. --John (talk) 20:29, 15 December 2007 (UTC)

The cat was a background character from the series of comics titled "The Fabulous Freak Brothers". The majority of the content and humour was based on social drug-taking, mostly hashish, marijuana and acid. The ensuing tales involving the pursuit of such and the ups and downs of the hippy/biker lifestyle. Non-violent in a cartoon sense the series was entertaining, with several story lines having the cat as the main character. Portaying life with the Freak Brothers from the cats point of view, usually with some sort of revenge motif for some ill done to the cat previously....sometimes it could backfire though!
