Description
English: Kente weaving is a traditional craft among the Ashanti and Ewe people of Ghana. A kente cloth is sewn together from many narrow (about 10 cm wide) kente stripes. The picture shows 3 different typical Ewe kente stripes. Additional information about kente cloth can be found on http://kentecloth.net.
Magyar: A „kente” szövése hagyományos népművészet az ashantik és az ewék körében Ghánában. A kente anyagot számtalan keskeny (kb. 10 cm széles) csíkból varrják össze. A kép 3 különböző tipikus ewe kente csíkot mutat.
