Summary

Description Monument at Eva Beach in Benton County, Tennessee, in the southeastern United States. The monument recalls the Eva site, an Archaic site that saw substantial Native American occupation between 6000 and 1000 B.C. The Eva site, which was submerged by the creation of Kentucky Lake in 1944, was located roughly 1.5 miles north of this marker. The marker shows projectile points indicative of the site's three major occupation phases.
